We found our love for wigs through a very personal experience when trying to help a family member struggling with hair loss. During this time finding an ideal wig solution became its own difficult journey. Frustrated with the limited options available, we set out to help others solve the problem a little easier. We now help others by guiding them through this personal journey from hair loss to new hair solutions that most of our clients never knew were possible.

Our Wig fitting Process

Wig Fitting

We require an appointment for all wig fittings. We go through various options with you from Remy Human Hair Toppers, Remy Human Hair Wigs, Synthetic Toppers, Synthetic Wigs, Hair patches, and can help you make an informed decision going forward.

Synthetic Wigs

We will take you through different lengths, styles, colours that are available in our large synthetic range. We can cut and style many of our wigs to suit different face shapes.

Wig Toppers

Just need a little extra hair on top? Finding your hair thinner than it used to be? This could be due to medication, hormones, diet changes or any number of things. We can help you maintain your current hair and get some confidence back. We are branching out into real hair toppers and will maintain synthetic toppers.

Cut and Style

We are able to, within reason, cut and shape almost any wig. We recommend you bring them in for maintenance beforehand and we can have them washed and styled and then make an appointment for them to be thinned out, trimmed or a big chop. We are able to talk you through what we can do only after seeing a wig unless it is one of our own.

Wig Maintenance

We like to refer to this as Spa Day at the salon for your wigs. We can refresh your colour on real hair wigs, wash and style. This requires the wig to stay for 2 days. Synthetic wigs Spa day includes a wash and style and straightening or curl with our special tools. We require 24 hours for synthetic wigs maintenance.

Real Hair Wigs

Exciting news! We are becoming stockists of UniWigs! We will have a good supply of Remy Human Hair that is both pre coloured by UniWigs and they are supplying wigs and toppers we are able to colour ourselves! This is a new step for Wig Boudoir and are looking forward to this new step forward!

Our Wig fitting Process

When you attend an appointment for our wig service on arrival you will be greeted and shown to a private and comfortable room for a one-on-one consultation with our wig specialist.

Consultation & Assessment

Your wig specialist will assist you selecting a wig and provide options for customization, such as cutting and styling to help suit your preferences.

Maintenance & Ongoing Care

You will be taken step by step on how to manage, treat and care for your new wig on a day-to-day basis, including dos and don’ts. We will then schedule a follow-up appointment with our wig specialist, who will again review how to properly put on and secure the wig with wig grips or netting, as well as providing additional tips on how to prolong the life of the wig.

Yes after being greeted by our wig specialist you will be provided with a private and comfortable one-on-one consultation with our wig specialist.

Yes, a booking fee of $50 will be charged. This covers the specialist’s time. If a wig purchase is made then the $50 fee is taken off the price of the purchase.

The appointment generally lasts between one to one-and-a-half hours.

If your new wig is in stock, you may take it home on the same day. If it needs to be ordered, it can take up to three weeks.

If you have health insurance you may be eligible for a refund with the appropriate coverage. You would have to check this with your provider. Ask how we can help.
